    I am already a Chanel fan and my everyday favorite is Chance Au Fraiche. The only issue with that one is it doesn¡¯t last. When I want a delicious and sensual perfume, I use Coco Mad. I always get complimented on my perfume. A great thing is that I can even smell leftover notes a day or two later if I¡¯m just hanging around and I am not in a rush to shower in the winter. I wonder how strong this will be in the summer as I tend not to use my heavier perfumes on hot summer days.

It opens MUCH softer without that sharp citrus note and dries down to a vanilla patchouli smell that is so warm, soft, slightly sweet but not overwhelmingly so. I¡¯m addicted. I feel like younger people would appreciate CMI vs the original more since it¡¯s sweeter and less ¡°old lady,¡± there¡¯s less rose in this too. This doesn¡¯t last past 7 hours on me but I think my perfume eats skin lol. Ugh so worth. I think I¡¯m getting nose blind now bc I keep sniffing myself and spraying it.

    I¡¯m sure you have read reviews on fhis perfume with people complaining about the notes and smell being different, this perfume for me as well was such a journey, I started off blind buying if off the notes and bc a youtube video recommended it for Capricorns lol when I received it and sprayed it on me I felt nauseated. It was like an overwhelming amounf of patchouli but for some reason I was drawn to it and after wearing it 10+ times I smell so many more notes now than what I first smelt and notes that are listed. I never thought I¡¯d say this but this is my go to top 5¡¯s. I¡¯m 21 years old and I think this is very appropriate and sophisticated sexy even I enjoy it a lot, I think it just takes time to really understand the notes in this but do give it a try its worth it.

    Ok, so here¡¯s the deal. I¡¯ve heard that CM has been re-formulated a few times since 2001. I owned that version at that time and another bottle in 2019¡­I knew something was different ha! I just purchased the Intense version today and¡­um, damn¡­I¡¯m 10 hours in from first spray and it¡¯s still going. It does mimic the original¡­but much deeper, rounder and creamier than the 2001 version¡­more patchouli and some vanilla too. I love this! Not as sharp or crisp. Softer, but more¡­INTENSE. Best purchase this year, aside from my annual Angel refill¡­if you like that, you¡¯ll enjoy this 🙂

I ended up giving them away and wasn’t interested in this perfume anymore. I’ve heard it was reformulated many times to modernize the scent and was interested in CM Intense since it’s easier on patchouli and sweeter than the original.
